Terms

The deal,
in plain words.

What the service is, what you pay, what you approve, who owns the work, and what happens if either of us wants out. Last updated 20 October 2026.

01Who you are dealing with

Autooopilot is a trading name used by an Australian business based in Australia. In these terms, we and us mean that business, and you means the store or the person using the service. Using the service or buying a plan means you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.

02What the service is

We produce marketing content for your store: posts, carousels, search articles, collection page copy and artwork built from your catalogue. You approve each piece in the app and then publish it. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, publishing is yours.

03How the work is made

Drafts are produced with the help of AI tools and checked by a person before they reach you. You are paying for the finished, checked piece, not for the tools behind it.

04Plans and credits

Plans are monthly and priced in US dollars. A plan buys a number of credits each month: a post is 1 credit, a carousel is 3, a search article is 30. Credits reset at the start of each month, do not roll over and have no cash value. If a month needs more than the plan holds, a top up is available at the published price.

05Early bird

A plan started before 1 January 2027 includes a dedicated account manager for the first six months. They hold the plan, write and revise the pieces, check the work against your stock and send the monthly note. You still approve before anything goes out. The offer runs from your start date, applies to new stores, and depends on capacity, so it can close early.

06Approval and revisions

Nothing goes out without your approval, and approving a piece is accepting it. Revisions to a piece we wrote are included and never cost a credit. A revision changes the brief we were given; it is not a new brief.

07What we need from you

  • Product, stock and price information that is accurate and current.
  • The right to use the photos, logos and trademarks you give us.
  • A person who can approve work within a reasonable time.
  • Instructions that are lawful and true.

08What we do not promise

A position in Google, a citation in an AI answer, a traffic number or a sales number. Search engines and AI assistants decide those, and their rules change without notice. We do the work and report what was done. What it produces depends on your catalogue, your prices, your market and the season.

09Who owns what

You own your brand, your photos, your product information and the content of your store. We own our software, our templates, our methods and the way the work is produced. Once a piece is delivered and paid for it is yours to use anywhere, indefinitely. We do not reuse it for another store, and we do not show it in our marketing without your written permission.

10Other companies

The service reads from the platform your store runs on, and that platform's terms apply alongside ours. Shopify, Outrank, Revid, PostSyncer and the other names on this site are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with them, and a comparison is our reading of their public information on the date shown on that page.

11What you cannot do with it

  • Use it for anything unlawful, misleading or infringing.
  • Copy the service, resell it, or scrape it automatically.
  • Produce content for stores you do not own or run.

12Availability

We work to keep the service running and to warn you about planned interruptions. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not offer an uptime guarantee unless we sign one with you.

13Billing, pausing and ending

Plans are paid monthly in advance. You can cancel any time before the next renewal, and the plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for. If an invoice goes unpaid we may pause the service until it is settled. We can change prices with 30 days notice, and a change applies from your next renewal. Fees are not refundable except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.

14Liability

Nothing here excludes a guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our total liability on any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or other indirect loss.

15If someone sues because of your content

You cover us for claims that come from the material, instructions or access you gave us, including a claim that your content infringes someone else's rights.

16Privacy

What we hold and why is set out in the privacy notice. It is short and it is on this site.

17If the agreement ends

Either of us can end it as set out above. You keep the pieces already delivered and paid for, and we hand over anything outstanding that you have paid for.

18The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and Australian courts have jurisdiction. If one term turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms stand.

19Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes with them. If a change affects what you pay or what you get, we will email you at least 14 days before it applies.
